Bandom Themed Fic Rec Post #2 - Killjoys

Sun, 03 May 2015 18:05:07 GMT

Hi! I'm back posting in this journal, this time to recommend fic set in the universe of My Chemical Romance's 2010 album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. See below...

For now, I'm going to plow ahead and assume that you already know at least a little about the album and its universe. I will likely come back to edit this and add some background information.

Bandom Themed Fic Rec Post #1 - Horror

Thu, 19 Feb 2015 03:35:05 GMT

Over the past year, I've read a lot of bandom fic. This is the first time I have posted about any of it. When I say "a lot," I mean a lot. There is so much out there, it's a little hard to navigate sometimes! I want to share my own way of navigating it. Thence, I will post fic recs. This is the first in a series.

Dear reader, would you be interested in some bandom fic recs following the theme of horror? Maybe? No? Well, they'll still be here if you change your mind. In no particular order, here we go...

( Click through for recs! )

That's it for now! Stay tuned for more posts regarding vampire AUs, werewolf AUs, carnival and circus AUs, AUs where someone is a ghost and has romance with another character (a criterion that disqualified fic for inclusion in this rec post), Regency and other historical AUs, fantasy and supernatural AUs of various stripes, Killjoys 'verse, pirate AUs... There is so much fic, and so much of it is so good. Hooray!
